dengkong, Pineda will NEVER be perrygay, WHY: 1) Pineda has a phenomenal vocal range, FULL-voiced, soaring, masculine and powerful tenor, NO falsetto to reach the high notes...unlike Perrygay: falsetto voice, weak, feminine/gay voice described by music critics as a baby seal lion asking for help, Britons describe perrygay's voice as a 'duck'!

dengkong, 2nd point--Pineda: very humble, down-to-earth, self-sacrificing, family-man, loyal, profound thinker, team player Perry: EGO-centric, NOT a team player, control freak, abandon his fans, a lonely recluse, old, obese NO Pineda will NEVER be perrygay, and I don't think Pineda would ever want to be perrygay at all!

wow! Beautiful! HE's so exotic Beautiful, his voice is beautiful, the band sounds Beautiful-- His timing cadence is impeccable. I have a 'photographic' memory of all the little trips turns Steve Perry put on every word. I miss Steve, but this guy--closest possible match! Excellent Kudos!

If a band fired you and moved on with another singer would you go back to them? I wouldn't. That does not mean he abandoned his fans, it just means he has some pride and self respect. On a side note I saw Journey in concert two weeks ago and they were fantastic. Arnel is great. Rumor has it SP is working on a solo album. Can't wait.

Wow, i think that Arnel sounds so much like Steve Perry, but of course, NO ONE can be Steve Perry and NO ONE can replace Steve. Forever faithfully STEVE!!!!
