Interesting comments. People take this whole music thing to siriously though. If you hear something you like, that's all that matters. There is no need to categorize it into a genre or anything. And... I don't think there is such a thing as "killing hip hop"....I'm not verry good at explaining things. I give up :)

Lol.This is poetry; just because he is a rapper doesn't mean everything he makes is music. This is spoken word. And just because he doesn't talk bitchez and hoez, or bling and gunz. Doesn't mean he's killing rap. Music is a form of art; he is merely adding some diversity. Emo rap? : / Go die you conceited fag.

And dont get me wrong i was listening to sluggo and rhmesayers and heads from this camp a long time before most people were, but these fools fell off with there latest shit. IIS LIKE SOME KIDS FROM THE SUBURBS TOOK A PEICE OUT OF HIP HOP AND MADE THEIR OWN THING. thats cool i guess, but this isnt true boom bap hip hop on any level and i guess some of u r allright with that. THE UNDEREGROUND IS MAINSTREAM!

who likes this????oh wait the same people that wear ironic Led Zeppelin shirts to hip hop shows nd always seem to have the newest nike dunks and go to art school and make fun of any rap artsist that goes platinum and has a video on mtv. People say that southern rap music is killing hip hop. I say this college radio emo "im cooler than u because my music sound so introspective" movement is killing hip hop.

You're too busy pulling apart the text to make a mockery of it. No matter what movement, theres going to be some sort of conformation. Without that he'd be another random guy who no one knew. The Anti-Pop Collective Aka ANTICON, in my opinion, wasn't against conforming as a whole... but moreso the conforming to what is universally popular, i.e. the likes of 50 Cent, Eminem, Modern Rock, etc. Same way theres so much controversy over the genre EMO. Music=Emotional.

Is it "IN" at the moment to conform to non-comforming?
