Sukriti: Well there are two shows here in the U.S. I think are pretty funny. Scrubs and Family Guy. But you can't really compare those with Python 'cause it's specifically a sketch show and so unique.

NGS712: You're so right! There hasn't been anything on TV that compares to Python in a LOOOOONG time... I live in Vietnam, so no one's even HEARD of Monty Python...

Elric33239: Thank you so much!! I've seen the Four Yorkshireman in The Secret Policeman's Other Ball, but I didn't know Time Bandits had MIchael and George, I'll definately check it out... George is my favorite Beatle, while MIke is my favorite python!!!!!

One suggestion: The Secret Policeman's Other Ball features John Cleese and Rowan Atkinson involved in two sketches together, including an update of the Four Yorkshiremen sketch from "At Last The 1948 Show." As for a Beatles link, try "Time Bandits" written & directed by Terry Gilliam with appearances by Michael Palin & produced by George Harrison's Handmade Films w/George singing the closing theme.
