This is very Beautiful !!! The choir is amazing!!!! Its so beautiful. its been my dream to see this one day in real life... Church Choirs are beautiful !!!!! Their voices are so beautiful. And yes its a Catholic Church... St. Petersburg! Its a famous place !!!!!! :)

I'm appreciating the insanity of the B's, A's, G's, and yes...F#'s because it's there in all it's glory. Ironically it's not about how low they can go because we really don't know how low they can go, do we? Do you? Nope. Beautiful piece nevertheless...just gorgeous!

Unfortunately its a mix of the great reverb and reduced audio quality for Youtube (and perhaps the voicing that Chesnokov wrote). The lowest notes in this piece are the two A1's near the beginning and end. If you get the CD ("Credo") you can tell... there's another piece where they cadence with a G1 and it's obvious. I think we should be less caught up on "how low can they go" and just appreciate the insanity of the B's like pavelkostov was saying.

Interesting...and you're right...the A1's are very good...I overstated my initial comments just a bit concerning the A's...dang...I just heard the F#1 again and it's a monster note-really full.
