it would have been around 60% thrust then wait for stabilization then jam the throttle to full (calculated full ;-) ), we all know that jet engines take ages to spool, so yeah not idiot pilots nor dangerous, just pilots in a rush to get off the ground. Been on planes plenty of times where they start spooling up on the turn onto the runway just to save time - specially in crowded places like heathrow, NY and many airports.

He applyed no more than 50 percent thurst while turing. That was what you call an AMAZING takeoff, Done by an AMAZING pilot. Your not in a position to judge pilots. Nor anybody for that matter.
