McCain betrayed his country by passing military info to the Vietnamese over coffee, fruit and cakes in Jan 1970. He betrayed his wife by dumping her when she got injured. He betrayed his centrist politics when he sucked up to Zionazi John "God sent Hitler" Hagee (later dumping him too). He betrays America every time he listens to "Treasonous Joe" Lieberman. Now he is betraying the American public, by saying the bad times are in our minds (thats true if you make $6m a year like his family does)

If the Europeans like him so much let him run for president of one of their great countries! I would actually prefer someone who cares what Americans think not how many Germans will show up for free beer, brats, and music.

1) Although I find most of this inacurate it is hard to have that much fodder to fire without some substance.
2)He is really in reality small and insignificant. Would you hire the newsboy to be the CEO of a newspaper?
3)This is not American idol where we vote him in and hope for the best.

One may hope that in fifty years America will have recovered enough of its senses so that people will look back and recognize today's "conservatives" as being as morally reprehensible (though often in new ways) as yesterday's.

Right wing by definition describes a group or person that supports the EXISTING social and political order or longs for a return to an earlier time. It IS worth remembering that the "conservatives" of each prior era in America in the last century were, without an exception I can recall, on the morally reprehensible side of every major social and economic issue: the "conservatives" opposed the New Deal, opposed social security, supported segregation, opposed civil rights laws, and on and on.

On 9/11 Americans were deliberately shocked into submission, which made us willing to accept everything neocon news said to us. Fueled by the propaganda to blind us by our own patriotism, we ignored the legality of invading Iraq while those who opposed it were quickly accused of being anti-American. I've always been extremely suspicious of how our focus shifted so quickly from questioning Bush's first win in 2000 to literally being afraid for our lives. Fox News Busted.
