mythbusters try winding down the window under water, The pressure was too great and you can't wind it down. Just best to get out of the car fast
xmissxHx (August 19, 2008 at 6:13 pm)

KamloopPirate (August 19, 2008 at 6:06 pm)
NO, i said look at the second time... when he dose get the door open to easy before it sinks... The sun roof is open, and the back window is open... heance no pressure agenst the door
BIHVR6GTI (August 19, 2008 at 2:18 pm)

I think the electronics short. If you had a classic car - with the winch - Sure.
FilmCryptic (August 19, 2008 at 4:37 am)
Take a close look at the car just before it goes in the water - and after hammond gets the respirator. It's closed. The bubbles are escaping through the gaps only.
KamloopPirate (August 19, 2008 at 3:44 am)
wow... the second time around was rigged... you can see that the sun roof was left open so no pressure would build up
BIHVR6GTI (August 18, 2008 at 3:09 am)
