Yes it fucking did. This song was made in the 80s which is when emo came out. Back then emo was a sub genre of hardcore punk. Ever heard of Embrace or Rights of Spring? No STFU and GTFO you don't know shit about music. You fuckin FAIL

You know this band sent some famous songs like "killing an arab" and "10:15" to all the music companies in England,and just one accepted them who was Chris Parry =P , i guess get a contract in a music company sure is quiet difficult everywhere,even if you are good at it.

First this is not Emo,is new wave style,and second yeah the cure is not Goth,they have a pretty different style and at least i like it more than Goth rock style btw the Cure is one of the most famous bands who made their own different kind of music.
