Well, the screwdriver does "move" at 1:56 (good eye!), but the video is not cut; it's sped up. And my movie-editing software does that, presumably, but removing frames. Look a second or two before that and you'll see the screwdriver "move" again, but it's more obvious that time that my hand bumps it.

The 4 cells inside the Eveready #1209 and most other lantern batteries are size F which are about the same diameter as a D cell but about 1-1/2 times the length. They are used in other types of lantern, fence charger and special lighting batteries. In some 6 Volt lantern batteries there are 4 D cells connected in series. The rest is filled with foam.

Thanks for pointing out that alkaline batteries do not have acid. I didn't realize that "alkaline" was the pH opposite of "acid." I'm guessing, though, that I still would not want those chemicals on me. :) |
