I swear, I haven't heard this song in at least 20 years! I don't know how it got stuck in my head the last few days, but I want to thank you for putting it up here. It's evidence that some theme songs truly are better than the sitcoms they come from. Thank you so much for satisfying my earwigs for another day, until they crave some other forgotten hit from my growingly distant childhood.

My favorite Guilty Pleasure Song of all time (yes, I feel ashamed). I defy anyone not to dance to this. Oh, and this was the song playing during the disco scene in "Meatballs" (I can't remember to carry my house keys, but I remember that). :)

this dude was a werewolf in the movie an american werewolf in london, pretty good actor. great movie, seen it several times one of my favorites.did not know he did this song.i heard this song plenty of times growing up in the seveties.

Actually that's partly correct. Disco splintered in various directions, rising again in the 1990's through to today in various forms including Techno, House, EuroDance, etc. And, thank God for that. Sadly, Dance music is more popular overseas than in the U.S.
