Yes, you can make several squares and attach them as you go or attach them after you have crocheted all of them.

Can you make a baby afghan using this pattern? Making several and then joining them together? I am a newbie and didn't have anyone else to ask. Thank you so much for this video , it's clear and easy to follow!!
