That sounds the same as it did in Central Park. True talent is rare.

Absolutely wrong, Paul Simon is in my opinion and arguably factually the greatest song writer of all time. Paul wrote nearly all of their songs and is a beautiful guitar player. His singing cannot match that of Garfunkel's but is still very good. It was Garfunkel who said "It's easy to sing when the songs are this good."

Yes, but I would see that I did in the first place as opposed to taking decisions I'd regret and then go on bitching about it in hindsight. I also wouldn't insist on singing a verse of hit with Cher-like hip swagger and talking the words like that SHIT You Can Call Me Al song.

If you wrote a song this good, wouldn't you want the credit for it?

I have read all the comments on who is the best of the duo, fact is they are great together and its a shame such talent gets tainted by stupid arguements like so many great artists. they should be thankfull for the talent they were given.

I'm aware he wrote the song, and that makes him think he can act like a dickhead over it when referring to how he should have sang it in interviews. This sort of silly situation reminds me of Pink Floyd and how Roger Waters insisted on singing a verse of Wish You Were Here at a reunion in 2005.

Simon hated garfunkel at this time.Garfunkel was the heart of S&G.

Paul WROTE this song, it's his baby. And the Graceland album with ladysmith black mambazo is one of the most celebrated innovative musical productions of our time. He's pretty talented for a "fucking dickhead" !!

What a fucking dickhead Simon sounds on this song, and what a fucking dick he has been about it ever since it was released. The cheesy shit he released as a solo artist just proves who was the real heart of this duo.
