Probably not, although a great guitarist, he never got that much attention. This is because his solos probably weren't catchy or he didn't bring anything new to guitar playing at the time
Ya know what I mean?

I doubt Guns N' Roses were into Rush or even prog rock in general! lol
It doesn't really sound like it to me lol
Probably because they are both played high on the guitar.

Probably because of his face, not his body language. Thats probably what he was talking about

What?! Geddy, goofy looking? Why would you say that? I still think Jimmy Page shaking his ass on stage looks funnier. :P Oh well, just my opinion.

I mean no offense, but Geddy is just the goofiest looking man ever. He's still one of music's greatest heros though.

The ratio of instruments, drums, heads, strings and keys to players on this video is amazing. Where else will you see two guitarists on double head guitars plus both foot and hand operated keyboards and enough drums and hitty-bangy-noisy things to satisfy a kindergarten class? And they can play them, like gods, all at the same time, in real time. On top of that to have both classical and druggie references in the lyrics... Rock perfection. Who has the balls to do stuff this big and bold anymore?
