Sorry no comparision from the 30's/40's. Even with Lindy videos. The dances have been forgot, they've been being taught slower and more ballroomy, need to bring back the original styles, so much more fun and impressive.

It is volume III of "live in 1938-39"
on the phontastic label( A radio broadcast
performance from the nbc program called
"Melody and Madness"). The tune is based on
a riff from his recording of "Lady Be Good".
