I agree with you completely Snapshotofharlech, This sadly was about 20th forum post or Youtube comment of this type I had seen that day & I couldn't take I couldn't let it go any longer.
It served little purpose in that it wont prevent any of those sorts of comments, It did however make me feel slightly better :P

I understand the sentiment of your comment and probably agree with you - unfortuantely I think you have probably fallen into the same trap that many do - when they see a comment that they dislike etc they revert to a personal attack or insult against the individual who made the comment, and that then escalates the downward spiral into the mediocrity you refer to.So though the temptation does exist to do this - it is best to bite your tongue or count to ten before making such comments
