A couple of years ago I smacked my elbow on the wood pile while chopping wood. This injured my elbow. The band creates a pressure point on the tendon on the lower side of the arm. It helps to prevent the injury from getting worse due to the hammering. Helps prevent tennis or golf elbow too. David
