These cars were so much brutal, not like today when everywhere is electronic. In 80's driver was more important than car's electric systems cars were looking not so sweet becuse there was a fight beetwen F1 and Rally. Guys who drove car like this was nutter but he wasn't doing that for money...

That the idea of the 20's... And well... It's now call F1 -> Shit! In the 1919, the Targa florio and the Mugello race was some "Gp"... On a 67 miles "race track" on public road... A couple of year later, they goes at Brooklands ;) But they use the same idea, with GR.B: ERC ;) The Gr.B was still alive there for a couple of years: Close track, safer... So why they kill the GR.B, outside WRC? Cost: touring prototypes cost a lots. So, in 1993, what they done is to replace Gr.B with modified Gr.A.
