I know it, because I am singer of a band too. But is that a justification?
Such kind of singing only works with much compression, limiting, chorus effect and some delay and multiple tracks. But still no apology for weak live perfomances. xD

Unfortunately they need the back-up singer. They did it because Jon sometimes sucked so much... Listen to old performances when they didn't have one

no i totally agree, i listen to all types of rock, i was just pointing out the fairly noticeable difference between nu metal and emo, but youre right, too many people argue about which genre is better and what not, each and every genre is different and appeals to different people
