The poster who said write your congressman, well, you are so brilliant. It's the only way we can make things happen. I think more people who DON'T graduate from IVY league schools should be running for congress. It's the only way to get back to basic economy. Ummm...don't get mad at him for speaking what he knows. JNStMarks--if you want to make sure this country gets to the top, stay educated about what's really going on in the world and write to your representatives in congress. They'll only listen if they think people care/are aware of what's going on.

i don't understand why america needs freddie mea and freddie mac?? buying home loans from the banks unloads the bank's risks and caused more unregulated loans to be given out. in other parts of the world (mostly) there are no such gov. body that buys loans from banks.....the banks takes total risk and therefore they are more careful who they give out loans to.
