This is an awful version. It sucks, I do think TPBH is right, it is flat, without depth. The studio version, how ever is fantastic. have you heard it. Compare.

Yeah, most people seem to think a good cover would be an exact replica of the origional song.

This is just too different from the original song, it can't be compared. This is like bossa nova style, easy like many Brazilian songs...too bad that some people don't like it, Nouvelle Vague plays great 80's songs in a very unique and decent way.
