i also believe that if people want to come here....great !!! come legally and i will help you in anyway possible to make a better life for you and your family but come here illegaly and you should be jailed and then deported back to your country !!! many countries have very similar policies on illegal aliens . why should we be any different ? all countries have thier own language and america is no different

for as long as i can remember ... english is the language that has been taught here and what all americans speak !! i have served in our armed forces and am married to a immigrant ... but for anyone to come illegally into ANY country is plain wrong and this goes for any country not just america . if i go to russia i am expected to speak and understand the russian language is this wrong i say not its thier country not mine and to expect them to speak english would be offensive thier way of life

slshstevens you failed that twist, Legally you have to learn to speak, read, write, and understand the ENLGISH language and swear allegiance to the Constitution. If you come into the United States of America (Cross the legal and binding Border), you will have to go through proper legal channels to become a legal citizen and the language you must learn is English. They have given a short cut for those mescan illiterates of late. We will get it right again
