My experience is to the contrary. Prescription drug prices are NOT going down. I didn't hear any specifics about the savings in those prices from Ms. Oliphant, because what she says is false. She clearly doesn't have a clue as to Medicare Part D pitfalls.

Market forces to work? Rachel may be pretty, but she is also high. Drug companies will never lower prices unless they are forced to. They need to feel the heat of generic companies and bulk buying from the government.

It's not the government stepping in to do anything. It's the Drug co lobbyists who are trying to keep some of the foreign manufacturers out of the US market. In fact, I question the "Heritage Foundation's" mis-represented focus here. Senior's "lost" without Lipitor? That sounds like fear mongering to me.
