One of my favourites too. Still have all his songs on cassette!That cassette is at least 30 years old and still playing ok. My next best favourite was the flip side of this, Last Chance to Turn Around.

Loved Gene!!! His voice was so rare, good looking too, lol. But the lyrics to this tune really descibe a "dog" of a man. I imagine this happens a lot, but never with so much explanantion... Hope the imaginary wife/girlfriend took "dog" to the cleaners, lol.
