. Organized religion, commonly known as child abuse, is like organized crime; although it has several key differences:
* It generally involves a lot more killing.
* It generally involves a lot more crime.
* When religious people carry out the same immoral activities that gangsters do, they like to believe that what they are doing is the highest ideal.
* In most countries religion is legitimate and in many countries, developed and undeveloped, it is actively encouraged and supported.

that´s just what religius people say to quell their insecurities, every atheist is an individual with their own reason to reject god, their own wiew of morals and way to see the world. Atheism existed before Richard Dawkins or any of your so called leaders and nobody is demanded to read any of their books to be an atheist. In my PARTICULAR wiew, having faith isn't bad, but the belief in god never gave me an answer that satisfied my questions, that's why i don't believe.

Atheism is a religion.
Let me explain, atheism has its own set of values, you follow its well-established teachings and doing so gives you a feeling of accomplishment and sense of direction and order. Atheism has its leaders and followers its own foundations and philosophers, in the definition of a religion, this is what it is. Atheism claims to be the absence of faith, but it really is just another sort, you have faith in the belief that there is no God. |
