I know, but in that case it would take me twice the amount of time needed to make the video

Please, dont' show onl voice line. This music is made by two lines, canto and bassus. thanks

I am a mezzo-soprano because the colour of my voice is a lot richer and heavier than a soprano voice, and unless that changes I will still be a mezzo, regardless of my range. So it's not just the notes you can hit that determine your voice type you see? :)

I can understand why many find this devoid of emotion or boring. I think we may be used to a slightly "romanticized" rendering of this...which I myself happen to LOVE lol (e.g. Jessye and Leontyne). However, this is Baroque music and if we adjust our periodic sensibilities, I think we find that this is just as moving and sensitive.

Wow - this is definately much different than Iva Bittova's version. I love it.

Why did everyone put negative points on my comment? I'm sorry, I was under the impression that mezzos were the most common type of feminine voice as it takes years and years to reach all the notes a soprano can, and guys, mezzo is short for mezzo-soprano so you're just a little lower than a soprano. Most girls without musical training would not be able to reach soprano notes. I have *temporarily* categorised myself as a mezzo as my teacher and my aunt, both professionals, said I probably was.

Well then I guess my singing teacher must be wrong ;)

Keep looking, there are a lot of different versions of this. I'm sure you all think she's good but in my opinion this piece is much to big for her voice. She may have been "older" when she recorded this but I still think this piece is too big for her voice. It requires a much fuller tone and more rich. But hey, that's just my opinion. This is one of my favourite pieces from an opera. Beautiful. Just not for her.

Very nice of you to include the notes, good idea. Thanks.

This is the best version I've heard. I don't know what you're talking about.
