Citizen Kane is a great film. Greatest film of all time? Perhaps. I'm not really fond of "greatest of all time" lists.
And chazzy, don't ever tell someone you're "hip".

I saw this movie when I was a small child on PBS late one night. Growing up I always spoke about this movie but I never knew the name. All I could remember was the word ROSEBUD. This is defiantly one of the best movies made. Not only did he star in the movie but he also directed it.

Personally I liked The Godfather better than Citizen Kane, but this is still a great movie. People that don't like this movie are probably too stupid to understand it.

why watch then ? I'm still in my late 20s love old movies i have loved them since i was 18my cousin thinks I'm a nerd for that but everyone entitled to their own opinion i think all the acting in this movie is great as are the actors

well actually i happen to be a hip and happening 16 year old and i voted for this heartmoving film which may i add i have watched over and over again.
i presume that you are a teenager with the mental age between eight and twelve (basically you are a moron)! and so your opinion of this film doesnt count!
