I am putting this performance by the Swedish-meatball up for it's "historical" (hysterical?) significance, since I am sure a lot of Malm-sturbators out there will dig it and I remain objective. No band, equipment problems and a scheduled 30 minute performance he cut off at 20 mins.....still, I do like the boots, pants, bling and weave. Let the "Malm-wars" begin......please keep your comments on at least a semi-intelligent plane and on-point to this particular performance. I like the vid and his "legend" and technical skills, but believe it was a lackluster performance, well under the hype.

That Farrari Sticker on the back of his guitar and the Rolex on his wrist speak volumes louder than that oversized Spinal Tap Marshall he was playing through that day Flash and speed over substance I have been a fan of his from the Alcatrazz days and have'nt seen him in 18 years before this day and I'm sorry but the guy needs to lay off the booze and get a complete make over come on a freakin hair weave I was embarrased for him too bad I would love to hear him record something relavent again

Fugue. It's on his Concerto Suite album.

lol So i'm guessing that u didn't get an autograph? I was lucky to be pretty far up in the line so I got an autograph, but he just stopped signing after he ran out of posters... I'm more mad about the fact that he only played for 25 minutes instead of 50 like he should have. That REALLY pissed me off!

So why are you listening him again and again? As far as I know he has a bunch of albums, maybe he just plays live what people wants to listen to.

malmsteen is a legend of guitar... but as the time passes his perfomances lose quality too much noise and less solos

Probably have to own one. ;D Yngwie's old 308 was actually on Ebay a while back. Said he was trying to sell it to get a new one. It was still at his mechanic's shop in need of a new engine. ;D

Yngwie Holsteen. ;D jk I didn't get to make the guitar show this year. I would've loved to seen him again. Last time I saw him was before The Basement shut down.
