Well, if you do some research on Edwin Hubble, the great scientist whom the telescope is named after, you may find the answer. I didn't mean to say proof for the big bang, I meant to say evidence. You are right that there is no proof of the big bang.

why are people giving thumbs down to a religious person and thumbs up to the otherwise? People believe whatever they want to believe. Some believe in the big bang, others believe in an immortal being. There is no concrete proof for either, the bible for all we know could have been written by random people hundreds years ago. There is no real evidence for the big bang. Stop arguing over religion, it's a waste of time, if you want to know, yes I am christian.

Religion makes wars happen. I don't hate god for the same reason I don't hate the tooth fairy. As for hating you well of course not. I just feel you are wasting your precious short time in life worshiping something which doesn't exist. Nobody should be hating anyone here. If people are hating you its because they are stupid.

Nothing, God has been in existence for all eternity, and will continue that way. I'm a christian, please don't hate me for it. hatred to religions makes wars happen.
