stop thinking one dimensionally, in this age evil people don't burn books anymore, they purchase the publishing companies from a front party and then either take it out of print or republish it with their ideology embedded.
the book 1984 talks about a future were history is destroyed and re-written. people think Orwell was taking about a distant future, in fact he was describing what is happening right NOW!
