I know what the song is aimed at. But by calling Aiden a traitor and all that crap is hypocritical when you think of that fact the you sing that song to people who still feel a strong bond with the country of their ancestors. There's nothing wrong being in touch with your roots and also being a proud Scotsperson. You lot think Scotland is all about YOU. As if ye are the proud scots team. You consider yerselves a brit team before scots, so why do ye always spout that crap about being Irish?

The songs are not aimed at any player in particular, were aiming the song at the 60,000 who sit in the home end, who go on and on about their "Irish connections"

I don't see why it should annoy you mate! We don't claim that Celtic is from Ireland. Celtic is a Scottish club which was formed by Irish people to help the poor in Glasgow, most of whom happened to be Irish. They are from Scotland but the blood of the club is steeped in Irishness!

Why you calling him a fenian bastard then? Why do SSFC fans sing "why don't you go home?" As Aiden's dad is of Irish descent, then you lot must be directing it at anyone who has Irish lineage in Scotland from famine times onwards!
