BBQ is not about speed. The whole procedure of grilling is almost like a foreplay. ;)
And the worst thing you could ever do, is to use an electric BBQ. There's no excuse! I think it's punished by death in some countries... ;)

mmm those are nice hot dogs, but i make mine this way...
buttered buns, toasted, add fried onions then add grilled hot dogs on top then top with fried bacon. topped with grated cheddar cheese then grill the whole thing. Add hot chili and tomato sauce on top to garnish.

he's a true pit cooker!! but are natural casing hot dogs that much better? and are they beef? i don't eat pork!!

I'm just realizing that cooking on the grill is a real art. You may have convinced me to buy a charcoal grill instead of a gas grill.
Seems like gas might be quicker in some ways, but maybe real grilling shouldn't be rushed.
