"wave of mutilation" by the pixies! true grunge pioneers from late 80's and early 90's who never sold out and thus never became mainstream. i remember this song being in "pump up the volume" as well.

With a complete arsenal of five start actors you would think this movie would'nt suck. But it did, I had high hopes. one out of ten stars. I wanted to like it, maybe a lil too much.

this is a great movie. people give it crap for trying to "say" too much, but kelly is just getting his ideas across. Not to mention you can just watch it for its great dialogue (tarantino-esque?), dark humor, and ensemble cast. its a long one, but its worth the long run time. Just like Donnie Darko, you should be able to watch this many times and see somethin new each time. but thats just this one guy's opinion.
