but dont get me wrong electricity it is good (like this car) and it is kind of "from the future" and all that, but i dont think will have a very good succes not now anyway because the world it is not ready for it as long as gas still exists at your fuel pumps and this are silenced cars(i dont like them if they make no sounds) so i dont think that this kind of cars will be part of ur lifes soon not untill the gas it is over but if you check england they already run on somekind of vegetable oil:P

and that suposed to mean exactly what? i mean it is a new way of cursing and swearing or what is it then? relax man no need to start cursing here i just say that factory cars will always remain factory tunned wich means that no matter what they will do people like me will always make them better faster and if you care about gas prices you should look back into human kind history and that means that everytime we run out of something we replace it,so untill the gas will run out i will ride my v8

Electricity transmission is only about 74% efficient from the plant to your charge station. A typical charger is about 80% efficient, The power company uses 5% to 10%. To the battery you are getting only 56% efficiency. Then the dc losses start amplifying inside the car. You get about 20% total efficiency. A car without pollution control devices ICE can get this number. No big Batteries to buy, dispose of, and a big range to drive......

That will surely change. With more solar, wind and nuclear powerplants, we'll get cleaner electricity. So, a battery car is closer to solving energy crisis than the rest (which actually add to the crisis).

Ok people saying that electric cars just displace the oil to the power plant, yes, but only about 5% of the gas burned in an ICE car is used to move the car, the rest is lost in friction. A power plant's lively hood, (profit), is based on efficiency, you can bet our ass that they are a lot more than 5% efficient.
