I'd say the live performance is better by far. The energy in the building must have been intense when he wailed on the falsetto!! Only wish I had been there to get blown away by that voice. I keep playing it over and over. :p

In early October, Aerosmith and 57-piece orchestra taped a perfomances of Dream On for MTVs Tenth Aniversary Special, broadcast on ABC later that year. the venue was the Wang Center, formerly the Music Hall, on Bostons Tremonyt Street, across the way from the Charles Playhouse, where Aerosmith first rehearsed twenty years earlier. it was 1991.

NO. because he really is! i understand there are people (especially in my school) who hear another new face singing onstage in an off-tune high note yet most of them think that sunovabitch has a great voice. in this case, steven tyler really has a great voice and great vocal range.. especially the falsetto part in the last "dream on"... quite frankly, this live performance shows that he could do it in a studio, he could also do it as good (or better) in his live versions... this one's great!

3:54 to 4:00 is sooooooo sick! Aerosmith rocks!! Damn SICK! those vocals are just too great! none greater when doing those vocals... aerosmith kicks ass!!
