Christiania is an example for the world to follow... we need more independent communities that are truly democratic (not in the sad 'representative' way that can only be considered oligarchy by another name). The Republic of Lakotah is another great secessionist example.

Nice informative video except for one flaw. Nils is NOT community leader(01:49). Everyone together is the community leader. And to those making comments who have the impressions that people in CA don't pay rent - wrong. Everyone pays for electricity, water rent which includes a percentage to the government. And ofcourse there's sewage! (11:49) just not made by the government. |
